What you think about, you bring about.  What you focus on expands.  Having said that, wouldn’t it behoove each of us to think positive thoughts and to focus on what we want as opposed to anything negative or disempowering?

Stinkin’ thinkin’ is all too common.  So many of us beat ourselves up.  We fixate on what isn’t going right for us.  We often will let that inner critic overshadow any positive thoughts and keep us feeling negative about ourselves and about our lives.url

It’s time to shift our thinking.  It’s time to focus on all of the greatness in our lives.  Think about all of your best qualities.  Think about all of your blessings.  Think about every little thing that lights you up!

It’s just as easy to think positively as it is to think negatively. So why not think positive thoughts?  For some of us it really just takes a conscious effort to be aware of our thoughts and then to shift anything that isn’t positive.   Although it may initially be effortful, as you reprogram your mind into focusing on positive thoughts as constantly and consistently as possible, you will find that you will naturally feel your mind shift and as a result of your new patterns of thought, your life will become more and more of what you truly desire.

For today, put a rubber band around your wrist.  Every time you think a negative thought, snap that rubber band!  Awareness is key.  The more you catch yourself with those negative thoughts, the easier it will be for you to correct it and refocus your thoughts in a more positive direction.  Snap that rubber band and if you find that this is helpful, keep it on your wrist every day.  In no time at all, you will be a more positive minded person manifesting greatness in all aspects of your life.  Remember, what you think about, you bring about and what you focus on expands!
